"this is a child's space, so we move at a child's pace"
ABOUT OUR CHILD CARE CENTER
At Child’s Pace early learning we believe that children learn and grow through playful learning opportunities. Through play children are able to develop socially, physically, intellectually, creatively, and emotionally. We believe that each child is unique and develops at a different pace and in a different way. We will work to develop caring, respectful, and responsive relationships with children from infancy through the remainder of their time with us by partnering with the families to support the child's full potential for growth and development. Our goal is to create a physical and emotional environment in which the children and their families can thrive.
PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY

PROGRAM DELIVERY
Child’s Pace Early Learning Centre offers programming to children that is play based, incorporates nature-based materials and products, is developmentally appropriate and is planned based off of the interests of the children and their abilities.
We take a holistic approach to our view of the child. The overall outcome is for children to have a sense of well-being and belonging in a caring learning community with opportunities for play and playfulness with others. We have purposefully designed outdoor and indoor environments. Children will gain growing confidence in communication and literacy, through opportunities to express and develop ideas with others using multiple representational languages, a growing awareness of diversity and social responsibility, of their own and others’ identities; their responsibility to themselves, one another, and the environment; and their emerging understanding of themselves as citizens.
We would like to see every child leave us as enthusiastic lifelong learners.
INFANT AND TODDLER APPROACH
Respectful Infant Educaring Approach- In the infant room/ infant toddler room, we will be using the R.I.E approach for supporting the growth and the development of the children. This approach is based on respect for the child as an individual and not an object with the outcome being an authentic child who feels who feels secure, autonomous, competent, and connected.
